"When art is properly understood we will be able to paint pictures to cure toothache." -- Picasso The Pebble Hill Church gallery is a monthly showcase for  emerging and established artists.  Our church is in the center of historically and artistically significant Bucks County.  Since its inception in 1968, Pebble Hill Church has attracted artistic and creative people.  Our gallery is in the very center of our church home; the artwork is our ever-changing "stained glass" windows.  All the events that enrich our community take place surrounded by art. The artists and gallery directors at Pebble Hill Church have created a space outside the competitive commercial artistic environment.  As a statement of how important art and creativity are to the Pebble Hill Church community, we offer this essay written by Pebble's founding minister, Gordon R. Dragt.  Though he uses examples from his ministry at New York City's Middle Collegiate Church, the very same sentiments infuse our Pebble Hill history.
