This all happened in one weekend, Jeanne gave us the info about the fund and overnight we pulled it together, we are using social media to get the word out.  All this is new to us and we even have a gift for you – everyone who donates to our fund will receive a gift basket of our garden’s organic food!

Pebble Hill Garden is participating in SeedMoney's yearend funding challenge. The first 75 groups to raise $600 will win $400 challenge grants and we're only $375. short of that goal!

There are 460 projects involved in the challenge so we need to move fast if we're going to secure these much needed funds for our Garden and the needy in Bucks County.  We're hoping to use these funds to extend our growing season and raise more food for our food banks & to get our student-gardener project off the ground. Thanks for giving whatever you can.  As they say, many hands make light work!

Regular Garden Hours will resume in the SPRING.  Thank you for all your help this year.

Andy, Bear & Gretchen, have spent the summer growing, harvesting & delivering our fresh organic vegetables to our local food larders.  Pebble’s Garden is a partner of the Hunger Nutrition Coalition.  This is an amazing community of volunteers, farmers, gardeners, businesses, colleges, churches who work to alleviate hunger in our midst.  This provides our peace community with a way to meaningfully reach out to the larger Bucks Community and as part of this coalition together we create sweet abundance.

So much still going on in Pebble’s Garden: Building the medicine wheel mosaic, fixing fences; harvesting our last frost crops – potatoes & leeks; collecting organic seeds for next year; soil and water testing; cleaning up and planning for next year.

2016 is Pebble Garden’s 3rd year growing fresh organic food for Bucks County Opportunity Council, partnering with The Hunger Nutrition Network, a group of concerned local farms, gardens, churches, businesses, colleges and individuals. Through this coalition we are effectively helping to combat hunger in our area. Our inspiration is the Hope of the Harvest garden at Delaware Valley University & the Native American spiritual practice of the “give-away”.
