In light of David Cook’s talk, I have been practicing the suggestions to dispel the logjam of home repair. I seek to ignite the law of attraction for loving care for my house, which after years of deferred maintenance is starting to crumble around us. Specifically, after doing the ‘qualities’ exercise, I’m floating this advertisement for contractors with the following qualities. I will embody the counterpart qualities (in parens) as a reasonable client.
I need people for roofing and carpentry. Possibly plumbing and electrical too. This work is above handy-person level.
(Also, the basement’s had water intrusion problems since it was built, the site needs drainage help. But finding someone to solve that may require more advanced visualization techniques.)
