The wisest among us tell us that forgiving others is essential for our spiritual growth.
On this last Sunday of July, Rev. Annie Marans will speak on forgiveness and lead us in an interactive workshop to help us explore our own propensity to forgive . . . or not to forgive.
According to Annie, the experience of being hurt by someone, while painful, is nothing more than a thought or feeling that we carry around. These thoughts and feelings are disempowering. When we can release them, we can know more peace.
Rev. Annie Marans is a registered nurse who is also educated in counseling, workshop facilitation, and interfaith studies. She is a graduate of The School of Sacred Ministries and the Center for Humanistic Change and has completed a Masters level program in Heart Centered Meditation. Long a widow, Annie has two middle-aged children and four grandchildren.
Meanwhile, Bonnie Mettler’s exhibit “Engine of Racism” will remain on display in the Red Barn through August 13. The Red Barn will be open to the public every Sunday through the 13th from 1-3pm. Please invite friends to experience this powerful art exhibit. Only two more Sundays after today!
Join us Sunday in person or on Zoom at 10:30am.
