I hope this message is broadcast before Celebration…have lost track of the publication times.
Loreal came home on Thursday, our reconnection evening was good, and so far life has been manageable. She is probably coming to the church this Sunday, with two friends. I ask that you please greet and/or treat her as you normally would, and if she decides to engage (finally had a break from her phone that I extended for awhile) , let her talk rather than answer questions. I will tell her that people have been praying for her/us.
Here are requests for anyone who can help:
1. We would like to bring a dog for her into our home. However, in recent years she has not been treating our cats with the kindness and respect that these independent beings need. This makes me worry that adding a dog might raise the overall stress level for all of us. So ideas? Know of a healer or animal communicator who might help us, or a situation where young people can learn gentleness and patience with creatures, etc?
2. It would be great to do some volunteering or service, such as a soup kitchen. Ideas are welcome.
