Stand Up and Be Counted For the Children!

This Saturday, June 30th from 11am-12pm there will be a large demonstration at the old Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown to show our community’s support for the immigrant children, to raise our voices for keeping families together and addressing the human rights violations being inflicted on local immigrant families as well as those seeking refuge at our southern border. We will also raise our voices in support of our Muslim community in light of the troubling Travel Ban that will perpetuate the separation of families.

Our speaker list is powerful and packed, with a focus on immigrant voices, immigrant rights activists and people of color. The rally will conclude with Reverend David Green of Salem United Church of Christ (a loving supporter of immigrant rights and families) reading a short interfaith statement before our musicians lead the entire rally in linking arms to sing “This Land is Your Land.”

We expect several hundred people at the demonstration, and we are in close coordination with local law enforcement to ensure a safe and positive rally.
