This Level 1 Reiki Level initiation into the Usui System of Reiki opens energy channels permitting you to access the Universal Healing Power known as Reiki. Once opened, you will be able to perform energetic healing on yourself and others.

No previous experience or preparation is required for this process to occur. It is open to anyone ready and willing to work with the Energy. Once the connection is established, Energy Blockages are released, creating a balancing and harmonizing effect for your major energy centers known as chakras.

This initiation opens the central energy channel leading from the head’s crown to the bottom of the spine. It becomes a permanent connection the Universal Energy, allowing you to channel Reiki Energy whenever you need it.

In the beginning, the amount of Energy channeled can vary considerably, but the more the student uses Reiki, the more constant the Energy becomes. Level 1 initiation acts 80-90% on the physical plane. The remainder is on the mental/emotional and spiritual levels.

After the initiation, you may notice a subtle energetic flow through your hands. The Energy may be perceived in various ways such as heat, coolness, tickling, buzzing, or a strange undescribably feeling. Sometimes it takes a period after the initiation before you can really feel the Energy.
