You’re probably wondering what the relationship between those three! Well, during John’s most recent splendid, powerful talk, he mentioned during WW11 that the Steinway Piano Co. airlifted Pianos to the troops as a show of support. They wanted to do something to impact the war.
Often, we feel powerless and helpless and what can we do as the war rages and people suffer. As Maryann Williamson use to say if your concerned/worried about world hunger, send $5 to a world food bank. The same principle applies here. Be proactive, don’t just worry/complain/be upset (which only adds to the sum total of worry and upset in the world) – do whatever you can to be positive and proactive. We pray and visualize peace/leaders being enlightened/and maybe send $ to some agency supporting the refugees.
Guaranteed!!! You’ll feel better and know in your heart your making a difference. And, ultimately we trust God that the outcome will be OK. We don’t know why we must suffer Crisis’s, but they support a change. God work’s in mysterious ways!
