Dear Ones,
We just learned that, last week, Rocky was jumped while riding his bike. He has a broken collar bone and his arm in a sling. He’s been up and about, but can use only the other arm. Restless because “It’s May, and I’m supposed to be biking, swimming, and dancing!” He was biking to the pool when the incident happened. The assailant (who has been caught) appears to be an unstable person doing a random act of unkindness.
Please send prayers and healing energy for Rocky’s long recovery. He can take phone calls, and visitors – especially those bearing soup; check whether he’ll be home. And ask first about him, not Bongo, who – along with the flying monkey – was unharmed. And his bike is fine, taking a rest now.

Needless to say, the Train Celebration has been postponed for awhile. (It’s hard to do sign language interpretation with one arm.)
And speaking of soup! Peace Soup Sunday will still be held this Sunday. Celebration will have another theme, to be announced in this space too.
