Rev. Rosalind Cauffman
Rev. Rosalind began attending Pebble and participating on the Celebration Team in 2013 after being ordained in 2012 at the School of Sacred Ministries. Council Code of Ethics
I have consented to act as a member of the Pebble Hill Church Council and I agree to comply with the following Council Members Code of Ethics throughout my terms as a member:
-
I will act honestly and in good faith. I will do nothing to violate the trust of the community I serve.
-
I will exercise the degree of care, diligence and skill of a reasonably prudent person in comparable
circumstances. I will make a concerted effort to attend all Council and community meetings. I will act responsibly and with due diligence to become familiar with the affairs of the Church and to uphold its By-Laws, Policies, and Agreements. -
I will not promote my own interests or those of any community member, family member, or friend to the detriment of the Community. I will not seek any special benefits or privileges as a Council member or accept any compensation, either personally or on behalf of any other person.
-
I will not disclose to any person information decided by the Council to be confidential or privileged or which
reasonably ought to be deemed confidential. When in doubt, I will request a determination by the Council. -
At all times, I will conduct myself in a professional and businesslike manner at meetings of the Council or Community. I will approach all Council issues with an open mind, preparing to make the best decisions on behalf of the Community. I will act ethically with integrity and in accordance with legal criteria. I will comply with rules of good conduct and will deal with others in a respectful manner. I will comply with principles of good governance and procedural rules of order.
-
I will abide by decisions of the majority of the Council even though I may disagree, but I reserve the right to express my own views to community upon non-confidential issues.
-
I will not make intentionally erroneous and/or defamatory statements about the Community or any member, officer, manager, staff or contractor of the Community.
-
I will attempt to prevent or minimize conflict and disruption and will promote good relations among persons involved in our Community. I will promote a first class image for our Community, members and associates.
-
Recognizing that governance of a Church Community involves complex and changing requirements, I will continue to educate myself by making myself familiar with items that come before the Council.
-
I hereby agree to comply with the provisions set out in this Council Code of Ethics.
